The camping group SJHSCG has been on the go since 1997. We have had many, many memorable trips over the years. If you were a pupil on any of those, then yes, we are still running them and the formula has not changed much over the years. We are perhaps slightly more adventurous these days, benefiting from the SIC Outdoor Education department - Phil and Pete have been able to take us camping on islands, reached by paddling open boats for example.

If you are interested in joining, just ask Mr. Bicket, Mr. McGinlay, Mrs. Tait, Mrs. Mason, Mrs. McNicol or Mr. Morton - all of whom have been on camping trips. If you are a staff member, then we are always keen to welcome a new pair of helping hands, provided you can pitch a tent and dig a latrine trench.
